I also appreciate you can share the concerns with me, but I'm afraid I cannot guarantee whether a method works.īilling section in Office 365 center, you may be able to I really don't want to have to go through the process of setting up an entirely new O365 tenant just to get rid of the reseller - if O365 was designed this way then it is rubbish anyway (what if the reseller went out of business for example). The online Microsoft documentation discusses how a reseller relationship is deleted but does not discuss all of the downstream consequences. Will it reappear if I can purchase the new licence and re-attach to the mailboxes? So what will happen to our O365 account once the reseller detaches from it? Does it revert back to Microsoft billing/sales for licences automatically? What happens to the user mailboxes if the licence is removed from it - does all the mail disappear or My concern relates to where the "new ones" come from - whilst our O365 account remains attached to the reseller, we cannot buy licences from anywhere else (the Product and Services page of the Admin portal says we must buy from our reseller). The reseller is happy to disconnect themselves from our "account", but has told us that all of our licences will be cancelled and we then have to supply new ones. Our O365 account is currently connected to a reseller and we want to stop using the reseller and be direct-billed by Microsoft instead. Thanks for your reply Hugo but I don't think you've answered my question at all.
